Professor Anne Sverdrup-Thygeson, Norwegian science communicator and best-selling author, explores nature’s astonishing diversity, species interactions, and why even tiny, unusual organisms matter for our survival. She invites us to rediscover hidden worlds where species quietly support us with food, medicine, clean air, inspiration and joy.

As humans reshape the planet, Anne urges us to look closer, think deeper, and make choices that help nature continue to thrive.

The lecture is organised by the Gothenburg Global Biodiversity Centre at the University of Gothenburg.

Note: To attend this lecture, you need to reserve your spots in advance. From April 1, your free tickets can be booked. A link will be updated here shortly.
