The Museum of World Culture and the V-Dem Institute (Varieties of Democracy) at the University of Gothenburg invite you to a workshop on the waves of democracy development. With a starting point in the V-Dem Institute's annual Democracy Report, released in March 2024, we explore the state of democracy in the world and provide historical perspectives. Utilizing the museum's educational tools and artifacts, V-Dem's research will be made accessible. In a creative workshop, students will have the opportunity to depict waves of democracy to gain a deeper understanding of the development of democracy.

The workshop will be conducted in English.
