Plastic recycling involves several steps where the plastic waste, after disposal, is collected, sorted, washed, reprocessed and given a new life as a new product. Each step is unique and contributes to the final properties of the recycled material which later defines its new life as a product.

In this brief lecture you will get insights into the plastic recycling process, the current state of plastic recycling and how researchers at Chalmers are trying to contribute.
